yes...the same name in English but different in Chinese. Wang2 Wei (王威) & Wang2 Wei2 (王維) Chinese language has so many similar sounds but completely different meanings. This is a big problem for the simplified characters too.
Oh, I keep getting humbled by the Chinese language. :)) I love it and wish I had a good memory so I could learn. I understand the tonal numbers you used. Which of the two pronunciations is the correct one for the poet?

I dare not say fluent.... just enough to order food and chitchat.
